Frome Vale Academy marks Remembrance Day with two-minute silence

On Remembrance Day, all staff and students at Frome Vale Academy observed a solemn two-minute silence to honour and reflect upon the sacrifices made by those who have given their lives in conflicts.

The entire ceremony was thoughtfully led by Year 6 pupils, who took the responsibility of guiding the school community through this important moment of reflection.

A spokesperson from the academy said: “Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

“It is a privilege to have our Year 6 pupils lead this ceremony, as it is an opportunity for our younger generation to reflect on the significance of remembrance and the values of peace and respect that we hold dear.”
