Reception children Explore autumn in the forest

Reception children from Frome Vale Academy spent a chilly afternoon in the great outdoors, embracing the beauty of the changing season.

The children explored the vibrant autumn scenery in Frome Vale’s own woodland area, where they studied the fallen leaves and observed how their colours had transformed with the season.

As part of their learning, they drew pictures of trees and used real leaves to bring their artwork to life.

A spokesperson said: “It was wonderful to see children so engaged with nature.

“They were curious, creative, and full of questions about the world around them.

“Experiences like these help them build a real connection with their environment and a deeper appreciation for the seasons.”
